Pros
-Very caring and supportive staff, despite how busy they can get. Had health issues and they were very accommodating. When quitting, they got a letter offering to return to the company as health improved. - Decent pay per lesson. Can still make pay on empty lessons by making materials. - Medium company with personal atmosphere -Travel paid up to 20,000 yen per month, bonuses offered for good attendance. -All lessons are one on one, mostly adults. Had a 6 year old student but very serious student. -Better conversational teaching methods than larger eikaiwas.
Cons
-confirming next day schedule in a 1 hour window the night before. A simple booked/not booked viewable schedule should be online for instructors to view instead of making a phone call. -required to work at all 5 Tokyo branches (yokohama is too far to be required for all instructors). Living east of Tokyo, sometimes going to Ebisu, Shinagawa, or Shinjuku was an exhausting commute.
