Pros

Great values and culture with good people working there. Free coffee and snacks each month with good company events. CEO is very kind and knows everyone’s name. It’s a good place to start a sales career and get experience but not something long-term due to the low bonus and fast changes.

Cons

Targets are too high and only a fraction of the sales team make any bonus. Make too many changes too fast with any consulting to the team. Sales team very de-motivated and morale is low with the lack of reward for the work. Recently, only around 5 out of a team of 30 managed to achieve the lowest tier to make any commission. Again, it is good experience and can set you up for a future sale career but not if you want to make a good bonus.

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback about OUB and your role. It's great to hear your enjoying the culture and settling in well. I'm sorry to hear the role itself isn't matching up to your expectations. I understand that Sales is a challenging role and we want everyone to feel motivated coming into work. So if you're happy to reach out directly, I'd love to discuss this further and see how can we help. Many thanks Adam Wright People Manager

Pros

Free Breakfast and Snacks - Always a benefit Paid Lunch - Something you rarely see sadly

Cons

Expendable - If you have a bad day especially in your probation period you will likely lose your job Mental Health Support is lacking - To be honest, if you are having a bad time and don't show it they aren't likely to pick up on it. They are not disability friendly, if you have an invisible disability like a neurodiversity they will say they are understanding but yet they most definitely not understanding. I would not recommend this job for people who are struggling mentally
