Pros

It feels good to leave. You build skills in how to endure crazy situations.

Cons

Do you like being lied and condescended to? Do you like gas lighting? Do you like constantly shifting "priorities"? Do you like unrealistic targets and budgets which are based on guesswork from senior management, instead of realistic insights? Do you like being hired to do one job, and then being told to do another? Do you like never being given a pay rise, even when changing roles? Do you like having no career plan? Do you like being shouted at in front of colleagues? Do you like being threatened with (illegal) fines? Do you like senior management who couldn't care less about mental health? Do you like senior management who couldn't care less about diversity? Do you like not being able to trust the sign-off from senior management? Having them say a week later that they either didn't approve an activity (even when you have it in writing), or that they no-longer approve? Do you like being told to live up to company values which never apply to the senior management? Do you like being told to create a local strategy, so that management can then create the regional strategy, and then be told you need to change your local strategy? Do you like being told to ignore all your expertise and local market insights, and go with the gut feel of the senior management? Do you like being told to lie to suppliers and partners? Do you like reports? And more reports? And more reports? And then being told to change the content of reports when senior management doesn't like the reality they're being faced with? Do you like being blamed for things which weren't your fault, and then that being used against you? Do you like spending personal time working on your bi-annual review (because there's no time during the work day) only for senior management to have already decided on their appraisal already? Then OnePlus is perfect for you. Only kidding, no-one should work there under the current senior management. Just look at the turnover rates if you want more of an idea. There are dozens of basic roles open across the world - most of it is not growth, it's a failure to retain talent. And, if you do join OnePlus, don't say you weren't warned, and make sure your probation period is three months, not six.
