Pros

You can get noticed if you do a good job. If you can provide an exceptional service as an employee you are very valuable.

Cons

This company has an abnormally high termination rate. They currently have money problems and have been laying off very good people since August due to a horrible sales campaign spanning 2010 - 2011. Prior to layoffs poor managers have routinely worked to inhibit career growth of hard working employees by providing inaccurate reviews and altered documentation to the detriment of their underlings. Good managers have not been leveraged to fill in the gaps as needed. In short this company lacks 2 key things... exceptional leadership and money. Applicants beware.

Pros

Lots of change in recent years, but this has created more opportunities than ever for cutting edge work within OneShield. AI is unlocking new product development even for most junior employees and shrinking time spent on less exciting tasks.

Cons

Cultural changes around AI and speed of innovation have been welcome for most, but are not for everyone.

Pros

Some of the people are good. Not much else is positive.

Cons

At OneShield, employees are treated as numbers—inputs into whatever metric leadership is focused on that week, whether it’s revenue per employee or the total number of AI bros. When your “number” no longer fits, you’re laid off. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, whether you consistently meet deadlines, put in long hours, or show genuine dedication. Those contributions don’t factor into their decisions. Leadership is focused on metrics, not people. Morale is low, and the environment is unstable. It’s difficult to feel secure and motivated when there’s a constant sense that any day could be your last, or that the next call might be from HR. Think very carefully before joining OneShield.
