Pros

Pockets of great people, can be a fun place to work if you end up on a good team Base compensation can be very high for IT employees Bonus structures can be very lucrative

OneCall struggles to maintain corporate focus and vision. Heroics are common place. Lack of transparency Very political environment Many right people in the wrong seats and wrong people in the right seat Low standards on delivering Lots of lucrative stay bonuses to retain low performers which demotivates high performers Very disorganized compensation structures. huge pay gaps between similarly skilled employees. Sometimes it’s team to team, sometimes within a team. The pay differences can be extreme (double the salary etc) Annual performance bonus paid a few months into following year is generally considered a carrot to retain employees. probability on if it will pay out is a common rumor.
