Pros
the best part about working at Onia was quitting. The office is nice though!
Cons
PLEASE NOTE: I told the recruiter that placed me at Onia all of the below info, and that agency no longer works with this company. Aside from the office, everything else about Onia is terrible. I saw some of these bad reviews back before I started working there and while it was a little unsettling, I ultimately thought that I had worked in this industry a long time and it couldn't be THAT bad. It really is that bad. The culture is toxic- There's a good chance that Management will throw you under the bus for something out of your control. In an effort to save their own jobs and survive, coworkers will likely turn on you and you're done. I saw this happen a few times during my time there. Management is extremely abusive, vindictive, and cruel. They are bullies and their behavior on numerous occasions was disgusting. Literally bad mouthing or screaming at/belittling employees in front of the entire office and worse. Often instead of firing, the co-founders would harass and verbally abuse people until they quit so they didn't have to pay severance. I wish I had recordings- the place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. You are disposable- Every second of every day your job is on the chopping block. Most days someone is fired and another poor soul is hired.. and I wish that was not an exaggeration. You'll be doing +12hr days, every day and that still won't be enough. Compensation isn't great and the benefits are lousy. Ultimately- if you are not fired, you will want to quit. If you're considering working here- just don't... yikes.
