Pros
* Some (not all) friendly colleagues * Free coffee and sometimes tea * Flexible work-hours
Cons
It's so many...where do I start... *** Red Flag *** frequent layoffs, lots of rotation, developers are constantly moving in and out of the company, no sense of stability * Not enough space... everything is extremely tight, compact and looks dirty and disorganized... there are wires, cables and old hardware all over the place. Company has ~250 people and occupies part of a floor of an 8-store building... Only one bathroom (for all these 250 people) which is constantly being used. Computer desks are cranked up one over the other, you barely have desk space and sit less than a metre from your colleague, it's so weird... * People outside your team are unsupportive * Extreme micro-management. You're expected to report your tasks to a 15 min detail in 2 different systems (HR and some Agile tool) * Horizontal hierarchy, nowhere to grow * Lots of scrum/Agile being used wrongly, which do not add value to the product * Very below-average salaries
