Pros

-Great product and brand -Rapidly growing company with lots of runway for growth -In demand product / brand -Cool office with fun location in Toronto -Relaxed environment and culture -Solid discounts on food -Pro [if you like] start up lifestyle, autonomy, ambiguous priorities, and doing a lot of different tasks -CEO hosts round table sessions every so often for internal feedback -Wellness days, 2 days off to volunteer, and decent company holiday schedule -Full week between christmas and new years the company shuts down

Cons

-High turnover on select teams -Priorities and direction tend to change on a dime, lots of whiplash -Small company but leadership team seems very out of touch with day to day tasks and comes off unapproachable -Hybrid workforce makes it challenging to build relationships with colleagues -Not great benefits, average pay, bonuses not paid out in full -Promotions / growth tend to favor individuals without families -Varies by team, but very poor direction and feedback from senior leaders

Pros

Really can't say enough good things about the people and the culture at Open Farm. From Wellness Days, Monthly Newsletters, Employee Discounts on product to just a general vibe and great culture.

Cons

Not really any notable cons IMO

Pros

Pets in office, good mission

Cons

Run away from this place. Leadership is awful, and HR is not your friend. In fact HR is crazy. Don’t be fooled by mission and awards, yes the founders are entrepreneurs with a great vision but the rest is a mess. Save yourself the trouble of working here.
