there is a disconnect between upper mangement and middle management, there is very little positive reinforcement, there is little to no opportunity for advancement unless you are close friends with or dating someone in the inner circle. some of the people are very kind and understand the industry trends and how to best run events, unfortunately these are not the people making decisions. the training also leaves a lot to be desired.
