Pros

Coworkers and colleagues really are great.

Cons

Management was terrible. Pay was worse. I wasn’t even getting paid a third of what my experience and what the market says I should be paid. No benefits. Almost everything is hourly. They (mostly the COO) limit everything you did. You needed upper level management approval at all times for the smallest changes or ideas. I felt very micromanaged. They’re also in a place they want to be better but instead of hiring professionals to establish themselves and create a unique product, they half heartedly just copy their competitors work and vision. So sad

Pros

The culture, management, and employees are awesome! I love everyone I work with here and we have so much fun with company activities and company lunches.

Cons

Salary is a bit below average and benefits could be improved. However, it is a start-up so I understand they are working towards improving on this.

Pros

They pride themselves on benefits of culture. Unlimited PTO, trips, parties, free lunch. It's nice to have and the steady paycheck is the ultimate comfort for it's employees. By the end of the day, the greatest gift of the company is your fellow employees who become your closest friends.

Cons

Growth, real growth, is an impossible feat at Opiniion. Their "scrappy" nature and growth mindset offers hope that it will extend to the individual as they do there part, going above and beyond - but that hope will linger with no reward, Responsibilities will at least triple before you realize how under-valued you are being treated. When you stand up for yourself, you will be fed hope that they have plans to change it - yet, years later, nothing will have changed except an increase of work. The needs of the team are rarely heard and often ignored anyways, but nothing stings more than how underpaid everyone below the leadership team is. How much they work with no help and inappropriate pay.
