Pros

The work atmosphere is open and everyone is very nice and friendly. Since it is a relatively small company, you get to know everyone well. I believe they moved now, but when I was working it was very close to the Silver Line Metro station. They stock the kitchen with snacks and food for everyone to eat. They have an end of internship event that everyone goes to. My year we went on a boat Potomac River and went swimming, tubing, and wakeboarding.

Cons

Sometimes the work can be a little boring or monotonous.

Pros

Working on real projects and applications, close communication with PM and senior devs

Cons

It was a pretty small company, felt like you knew everyone. Guess that could also be a pro

Pros

Fantastic company culture. Everyone is kind, willing to help, and dedicated. Stocked kitchen with great snacks. You'll never be caught doing menial tasks. As an intern, you're doing work comparable, though not quite as advanced, to the senior developers before the first month is up. Management does their best to make sure the interns are taken care of and learning a lot. They clearly care about what they do and the work all the employees put in.

Cons

The work is quality, but it probably isn't on the level of bigger/more complex companies. Much of the software does not require more than intermediate programming knowledge. This may be not be good to students who are looking for more aggressive or in-depth work.
