Pros
- They pay you on time - You don't have to spend time thinking - they'll micromanage regardless - Some coworkers are great people
Cons
It was a waste of time and energy working here. The company lacks focus. The executive team is too busy applauding themselves, focusing on the hot new thing, and ENDLESSLY talking and talking in circles about how they're going to take over the world with their latest harebrained plan. I still have whiplash from the inumerous strategic projects that went nowhere. To top it off, they're too busy doing that instead of making sure to execute well on the basics. You do have to congratulate their ambition though, if not their aptitude. There's no shortage of different attempts to "listen" via executive team lunches, 1-1s, special working groups, HR convos, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseam. The issue is that none of that goes anywhere and they continue with business as usual... with them all huddled together in a room talking while everyone else works to keep it afloat. Its notoriously difficult to enact meaningful grassroots change (e.g. new projects, processes, ideas, etc.) across most teams because they're too busy trying to support the exec's flavor of the month project. In summary, there is: - No agency, just micro-micromanagement - No career path, just titles and a few dollars - No reason to work here
