Pros

Great culture on the surface, people are great, there's a work from home day, commuter benefits, lots of snacks.

Cons

Where do I even begin. There's been a slew of weird happenings when I was working there. From people being let go suddenly, to our retirement accounts displaying discrepancies (I believe they fired the wrong person for this issue - and there still hasn't been any resolution 2 years out). People are overworked and tired. Frustrations with the product and general development of our product isn't getting better. When I was there, it wasn't abnormal to have meetings from 10 am-5:00pm. How are we supposed to get any work done? I lost trust in this company a long time ago. The lack of communication and transparency is disturbing.

Pros

* 100% remote without any office, so zero risk of getting pushed back to the San Francisco office * We get to operate with a high level of autonomy in how we get work done * Joy events are twice a month and they are pretty fun * People are nice to each other * Managers meet with each team member at least once a week * Learning and development is ongoing and revisited each six months * The executive team and the CEO really care about the people * Overwhelmingly, you get the sense that people are earnest, adaptable, and helpful (no job is beneath anyone)

Cons

* No free lunches sent to your home each day (a surprisingly common Silicon Valley tech company perks); everyone is pretty budget-minded.
