Pros

Osborne Partners is a great place to work thanks to it's process and people. The company's history of success is no coincidence -- however it's not a place that dwells on past success, rather keeps setting the bar higher every year. I think this gets the best out of everyone. The company is small, which enables autonomy and independent work, yet big enough to always find help or guidance when needed. The people are second to none and make the work environment very enjoyable. You get to know everyone easily and there are no ego's or attitudes to avoid. Lastly, the firm is minimally bureaucratic and affords opportunity to all levels of seniority.

Cons

If you're not a self starter, intellectually curious, or take pride in your work, it may not be the right fit for you. At the company's size there is no where to hide.

Pros

Good for those desiring dynamic, thorough, adaptable, independent time management - team oriented and experienced professionals.

Cons

Less favorable for those inclined to never ask for help, to not be time management skilled, or need frequent management kudos rather than gratification from doing right by clients, intrinsic merits, and peer recognition.

Pros

Experienced, professional teams across advisors, client service, and investment management. Offers flexibility and independence to execute role while operating within a team structure. The focus in on delivering results for the client but teams operate with a good sense of humor. Lean, flat organizational structure allows for impactful work. This environment is very differentiated from my experience.

Cons

If you have an inflated sense of self importance or you aren't a self starter, I recommend working elsewhere.
