Greedy leadership only trying to make a quick buck while treating employees like resources. It was bad previously, but the micromanagement and bullying has gotten much much worse with the new CEO coming in. Him and the senior management have ZERO optics experience and have no clue what they are doing - just a bunch of old telco people trying to run a fashion forward optics and eyewear company. It's a joke! They are using ideas that were relevant 20 years ago for an internet company and have made no effort to keep up with the times or understand the industry. Toxic culture at the company with store managers getting no support from head office. JVPs are absolutely milked until they are dry. No team activities or company culture at all. The company is always cutting corners and pushing staff to take the cheaper, unethical route to achieve impossible targets - this can be seen from the $3.5 million ACCC fine they got for fraud.
