Is this your company?

No regards for staff members' well being. This company's mission is driven greed nepotism. - Technical Support OxPay Financial Employee Review

Pros

The rank and file staff and the technology department. Most are ready to extend assistance to help newbies learn the ropes. Of course, provided your patience and have the will to improve yourself, unlike the operations team staff who are contented to be led and are reactive by nature.

Cons

I could probably write a novel here but let me just highlight the disturbing fact about this company's management. Firstly. Nepotism. CEO and COO are siblings; Fill in the blanks from there. Brought in close friends with utterly no experience to oversee departments with their iron fist style of management. Department structure is in disarray and the turn over rate for staff is alarming. They just terminated the whole technology QA while reasons that were beyond anyone's fathoming. Sales went to the extent of dealing via prohibited means just to make the numbers and have the cheek to proudly gloat about it during meetings.

Pros

• Free flow of snacks available every day and frequent company dinners. • The director is extremely kind and takes full responsibility for the welfare of the staff.

Cons

• A micromanaging manager who insists on knowing every detail of all tasks, but avoids accountability when issues arise. • The manager has significant influence over the director, leading to a power imbalance and allowing the manager to act without checks. • HR is unable to function effectively because the manager takes over responsibilities like candidate interviews. • The manager often reduces the salary offer for new hires, even though the director has approved a proper salary range. During interviews, the manager tells candidates they are not qualified for the advertised amount, giving the impression that the company is toxic. • The manager oversteps in everything just to look impressive in front of the director, often making situations worse. • Complains when others receive salary increments, yet personally receives raises twice a year. • There is no safe channel to raise concerns, HR has no authority, and the manager abuses power without accountability.
