Pros

Cool co-workers, some teaching experience (you can get better teaching experience elsewhere though)

Cons

Pay - between minimum wage (14$) and 16$ an hour. Keep in mind these are teachers with credentials (OCT certified or in the process). Hours. At my location, the boss would schedule me for 2 hours, but I would have 6 students during those hours. One time I was replacing a teacher who had 3 hours, and when one student cancelled last minute, she moved the remaining students to other tables so she wouldn't need to pay me for an extra hour. Unbelievable. I was with the company for over 2 years and I was very loyal, I did not do any private tutoring with my own students with the hopes that I can eventually move up. One day I said I was going to need a month off and I let my boss know MONTHS in advance, and she was okay with it. When I came back, she replaced me and did not give me any more hours. Would not recommend this company.

Pros

Environment kept cleanly and tidy. Has a positive vibe.

Cons

Management encourages feeding answers to students more than teaching the students how to learn. They seem to do this in an effort to keep students happy, which in turn keeps parents happy.
