Pros
Its a great job, you get to work on your own time and schedule. Provided you make sales. -Great job to enter the finance industry -Amazing memory from my time there. Sadly they fired the good manger, who cared so much about the staff " Not getting sales, you are working too hard. Take 10 Mins to get some rest". The new guy wants cards, cards, cards more cards. If you got 1, why not 2. If you got 2 why not 3.
Cons
I found the downside, that you hassle customers into getting cards. Equivalent to the street vendors in 3 rd world countries. Customers just want to shop and we shout at them until they buy -The boss only wants sales, he does not care if customer has a problem and you are trying to help him, he will shout at you for not selling him another card. -If you are trying to help customers, you are screwed -You will lose sleep, because of the unethical things that are being done -You signed up, because you wanted to help become not con them -Its the wolf of wall street of credit card. -There better and more opportunities at rival banks (BMO, CIBC, ETC) -You will watch customers you signed up, asking questions and ur told to sell them more cards and not help them-- so sad- so many good people have destroyed their credit scores through PC Financial. -You will mostly sign up old people and those that cant think
