Pros
Maybe the company name itself only: PLDT Global Corporatiob
Cons
PLDT Global Corporation Their medical benefits like HMO would be after 6 months. Unlike other company - day 1 HMO. It is not a huge company but I observed that the process and records are not organized. The company really has a "pass the work to other team" culture Coordinating with other teams and people internally and even externally (with partner companies and mother company) is very hard. Corporate changes are part of a corporate setup but in this company, it is very fast-changing like there is no time to adjust and cope up then another change will be introduced. Our head or boss in the team is not transparent on his/her decisions. Lack of communication with the team before making decisions. He/She always asks us about our suggestions but not always listening to it or open-minded to our comments. Based on my observation, teammates are not all responsible. Sometimes, there is teamwork and sometimes, there is none. I think it's best also if everyone exerts more effort in what they're doing. Some of them are seniors in the company (more than 5 years), but you cannot see their care and sense of responsibility at work. Coordinating with HR is very hard. You need patience to message or email them. Red flags: - As far as I can remember, Technical Interview lasts for only 5 to 10 minutes. No technical questions, just typical conversation. I just realized it lately that they are really needing replacement employees, that's why it's just fast hiring process and interview. - HR's answers to my questions are not matched to my actual experiences especially on my first days and months.
