PLJ Income Response

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us, as we value all employee and past employee’s feedback. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with some of your experience here at PLJ Income. I would like to clarify some errors within your review, so that others may have an accurate depiction of the work we do here and our company culture. First, we DO NOT disrespect our employees. But more importantly, we have never treated any of fellow employees like children. We are happy to provide our employees with a fun work environment dedicated to strong work ethics accompanied by an even stronger moral compass. To protect and nurture this environment, disrespectful and belittling comments are never tolerated. As you may remember, we go above and beyond to ensure that each one of our employees are nurtured to their fullest potential, personally and professionally. We genuinely care about all our employees, and take great pride in the work we do here and would never disrespect our employees in any way. We are sorry that the job did not work out for you. Sadly, it happens sometimes. We wish you the best moving forward, and want to thank you for your contributions to our company and for all your hard work.

Pros

Leadership - I believe a huge part of the success culture stems from the CEO. Of course it is also about the team. There are great and motivated employees, but there's a system with the company values that is set in place which enables us to align with the direction of our leader's vision quickly, and also improve our performance. We have daily huddles that helps the team understand where everyone is and keeps everyone alert. We have continuous training and learning - We get a ton of training and resources. It is fun and rewarding. There's encouragement in place for those who want to develop their competencies or gain more knowledge. The training is for everyone, even older employees whose been here for years. Everyone benefits from the development programs. The fun 'stuff' - You get wellness perks (gym memberships, insurance), random gifts, team activities, weekend brunches and celebrations, anniversaries, and 'just because' gifts, especially for going above and beyond. That is my favorite thing, to be appreciated and acknowledged :)

Cons

Commute is tough. I've tried different routes, so far I still hit traffic. That's LA for you. I still would take the extra drive because I love the company and the neighborhood is really nice. There's zumba and yoga across the street which was one of the gifts I got for an idea to help the team be more efficient.

Pros

I’ve worked for PLJ for 4 years. The best thing about this company is they really invest in you and your skill set. They have spent a LOT on employees to take them on fully paid educational seminars (this includes meals and entertainment) and have bought many expensive educational courses—all to help you grow personally and professionally. You are not stuck doing the same thing 5 years later like many other jobs out there. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you probably haven’t been out there in a good company. The management has an open door policy. They genuinely value and appreciate your input. The CEO and executive team always encourages you to come to them for help on any problems you’re facing. Management is pro-active and is in there in the helms with you—not something you see in many other executives. The company culture: strong work ethics and results-driven. It's nice to be around people who believe in the value of hard work. Your paycheck is determined by your overall contribution to the company over time. Management practices the highest level of integrity. Standards and a good moral compass is a must to work here. Management does not and will never tolerate anything dishonest nor indecent for the sake of gain. Management shows their appreciation through random acts like thoughtful careful gifts and random outings (A trip to Disneyland and holiday dinners to Mastro’s steakhouse, just to name a few) -Paid holidays and vacation, retirement contribution, free Friday lunches, monetarily rewarding KPI bonus incentives

Cons

There are sometimes a lot of projects and you have to know how to prioritize.
