The company brings in a new training class every month and only 1 out of every 10 people from each class will still be there after 6 months. They give you a week of training then get you out on the phones. You’ll get experience with making a huge amount of cold calls, but very little experience with quality calls. It seems that their business model with new hires is “throw everything against a wall and see what sticks”. If you’re lucky and get a few customers early on, congrats, maybe you’ll make it to month 7. If not, then they’ll see you out and give whatever customers you’ve attained to the senior AEs. The base pay is decent, but if you’re hoping to get off to a good start with commission, think again. Insanely low commission rates for new hires with barely any of them being their long enough to see a decent commission rate. Also, there’s barely any room for growth other than within the account executive position itself (you can work your way up to senior AE)
