Pros
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at PLS and look forward to the opportunity and challenges that I will face in the future. If you are someone who puts in minimal effort this job is not for you. You will fail and not be able to enjoy the benefits that those who truly GRIND at this job receive. Management allows you to work your own book of business and be your own boss. They expect you to show up and do your job, and if you do you will succeed. Management is very accessible, starting out I did not know much about the logistics industry, but I was able to pick the brains of my managers and flood them with questions. The management wants to make sure you succeed if you are willing to put in the time. Some sales positions are subjected to certain industries or regions; at this position you have an unlimited range of prospects to capture and this allows you to build up a great book of business if you are dedicated. Overall, if you are someone who can think quickly on their feet, be organized, and dedicated to improving your future, this job is a perfect fit for you.
Cons
Unlike most jobs, this is a position where you take your work home with you. Once you become successful and grow a large enough book of business you will constantly have freight in transit. This bothers some people, but when you are making the type of money that we make it is totally worth it.
