Pros
The product really sells itself. Very little salesmanship involved really. The freedom to make your own decisions about how you want to run things is fairly open. The pricing edge on beating a competitors price is very strong.
Cons
Upper level management has no clue what the stores actually do and it seems like they don't care to know. All the stores are very understaffed and underpaid. Depending on the store, the difficulty of achieving sales plan could be absurdly easy or absolutely impossible. There is no real middle ground. My biggest complaint is really that as a store manager your responsibility level is unrealistic for how understaffed the stores are and the hours are at best going to be 55 hours a week.
