Cons
The cons have gotten larger since the executive team changeover. Prior to the executive changeover it was a very good place to work with high morale. Since the executive changeover the morale has dipped significantly. While the pay isn't great, it isn't bad. Middle of the road. It has become though much more about do more with less. Perks are continually taken away. Health insurance budgets continually slashed causing health plan costs to more than double over the past year and a half. The drive has turned to attracting younger cheaper talent and pushing out more experienced expensive talent. The culture has turned into a very bottom line culture of what can be cut to save money, which is an ironic standpoint coming from the CEO that is compensated highest in Pittsburgh for public companies. With little perks continually taken away, while in the grand scheme of things aren't that big of a deal, when you add them all together with the large perks that are cut it kills company morale on a large scale.
