      Pros

      Huge exposure to a wide variety of personalities, ideas; great place to cut your teeth and gain exposure to corporate politics, sensitivity, learn about the real reasons why HR departments exist. Great place to learn how to "play the game" and grow some thick skin.

      Cons

      Fear culture, favoritism, people moved around and promoted on tenure rather than skill set and performance. If you can "play the game" and have a high tolerance for working with bureaucracy at its finest and if you like to attend meeting after meeting that has nothing to do with you or your projects then this is the place for you!

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
