Pros
This young firm is one of many trying to grow in the tight private equity space, therefore it’s an exciting opportunity. Some good people, excellent investment committees and technology integration.
Cons
The problems begin with dishonest leadership. In private settings the truth is revealed that they don’t care about clients, advisers or quality growth. The message of together we succeed is false because there no support from corporate. Agreements are misleading and one sided. Having grown up in the planning world where doing right for the client was the number one priority, private equity couldn’t care less about clients, partners, advisors or employees. Too many problems, too few staff to help, numbers misleading and incorrect, and a lack of integrity in leadership.
