Pros

- High quality scans and standards of care for patients

Cons

- Overzealous bunch who ban you from sitting down if there are no patients. As a result about 70% of the rads have plantar fasciitis and never stop to think why or question whether they SHOULD do something about it. Instead they blame their "shoes" or some other stupid reason. - Rude, arrogant and toxic seniors/lead staff who treat you like crap when you're new and trying to learn their system. They are also held with no accountability for the way they behave towards colleagues. - Pay is average.

Pros

Friendly users. Central Coast Employment. Most of the team are very nice. Doctors and senior manage team are easy to work with.

Cons

Data entry is a significant portion of the role, particularly for new IT staff members. Although it is veiled as training, you will undoubtedly receive this throughout your employment.   Lack of career progression. Generally speaking, the only way up is in dead men's shoes. Management will hire externally first. The salary is meager. Only increased by inflation or development plans.  These development plans are only minor increases, with employees often having to fight to obtain sign off.  Numerous employees have left as a direct result of the service desk management team's persistent, passive-aggressive, indirect bullying and nepotism, which has gone on uninterrupted for years despite the many complaints.
