Pros
They have great benefits and an awesome culture in the company. In my experience they really do care about the welfare of their employees. You get a great amount of PTO and are constantly asked by leadership and through surveys how you are doing. On my team concerns and considerations were listened to and followed up on. They care more about diversity and inclusion that any other company I have worked for. It is a truly awesome company to work for. The bonus structure is also pretty nice and they have been flexible with the desire to work remotely for my position.
Cons
Compensation. I do not know how PSCU justifies telling its employees that it works with valid market data for all of its positions' pay ranges. When I am looking at an open position as a Security Engineer, and the pay role range says $58,000 - $84,000, this is extremely far from accurate market data. This is not competitive and salary is often non-negotiable. Unfortunately the compensation amount can be a pretty big con. There is a chance that you will not be paid well here, and at the end of the day that is most often times the most important reason for working a job in the first place. Role pay ranges, as well as taking into consideration a person's experience and qualifications has been a frustration of mine. I do not trust PSCU's process for researching salary ranges.
