Pros
Excellent food - this is a top level restaurant and you pay for what you get. FT hours - this isn’t always possible in every hospitality job so this is important!! Free shift drink (depending on price value) Coworkers to bond with work trauma - the people here that you will work with are wonderful, caring people and the customers are truly excellent. The management could care less who’s working for them.
Cons
Owner and management are careless of staff/work culture, and intense micromanagers. Short (10 minutes regardless of shift length) or no breaks. Employee benefits are not great (15% off when off the clock, more when you're on the clock but you have no time to use that higher discount due to the length of your break). ***This benefit is constantly changing and management is constantly informing staff of new items that the discount cannot apply to ($1 day old bread/pastries, specific pricier meals). Only open Wed-Sun, and if you’re full time you’ll probably work each of those days so you can’t come in on your day off just to treat yourself and use your low discount. If your drink exceeds $8 you need to pay the difference. If customers don’t pick up an order or items need to be comped - you, NOT the restaurant, are expected to cover that cost end of day. Unstable hours - employees know their start time but not their end time. Expect to open and close in the same shift.
