Pros
-Climate change is the fight of our lifetime, Pachama isn't solving this alone, but it is working to solve super necessary issues and unlock the potential to scale nature-based solutions. Having this purpose personally gets me out of bed excited Monday morning. -Whether they're a 20-year sustainability vet, or a converted adtech worker, everyone has their own unique story of how they found their way to the company. I've never worked at a place where everyone, no matter what their role or background, is so aligned with the greater purpose of the company. -CEO: This is my fourth startup, and one thing I've learned is that culture starts from the top. Diego leads with passion and empathy, and this bleeds down through the entire organization in what we bring to work and how we interact with each other, even when we disagree. -Flexible work hours: We're a fully remote company and a results-driven one at that. No one is micro-managing the work you do, and you can do it from wherever your heart desires.
Cons
-Pachama is still an early-stage startup, and like a teenager going throw a growth spurt, not everything is easy. We're figuring out problems on the fly, which means we don't always get it right, right away. We're growing like crazy, but we still only have so many humans working on so many problems. Everyone has to wear a lot of hats and do more with less. No different than other startups, but a reality nonetheless.
