Believe the other negative reviews you've read.
Over the years I have seen the company decline into its' current state. Pacific Quorum does not have a good reputation in this industry anymore, they have a incredibly poor one based on what I hear and what people tell me (burned too many bridges, not paying vendors on time, lost too many buildings, made too many errors, etc.)
Head office is a toxic dysfunctional office compared to the other offices. Every time I go and visit the Vancouver office, you can smell the misery and distress in the air in every department. No one talks or smiles, it’s always dead silent. In order to survive there, you really have to put aside your ethics and integrity. The company values, “open door policy”, talk to your manager or supervisor if something is wrong is a complete joke - everything is for show and employees are not valued (talked to management many times about issues/problems and nothing has changed for years).
Management are so obsessed with how they are perceived from the outside, they pay no attention to what is going on on the inside. The moral is at an all-time low and very high turnover, so be prepared to be saddled with more work than you are able to cope with if you decide to work here in any department. Also, we don’t have an HR here in any of our offices - just tells you how much people can get away with anything and everything. Sad to say this place is just a revenue driven mindless organization now which makes you feel like there is no value or reason to go to work other than collecting a substandard paycheque.
