Pros

Great place to work. Solid training and the internal problem solving team was amazing. They hire very intelligent people that can problem solve quick. Managers were good. PTO is generous. Health insurance was great. Very good company to work at. Lots of growth potential if you are willing to work hard and do extra.

Cons

Dust and debris raining down near the box making machines caused breathing issues for me. Had chronic sinus infections due to the dusty environment from corrugate dust kicking up when operations are happening. You will blow your nose after a shift and have black mucus from dust. The machines are open top so the dust will coat everything around you. Masks did not help. Most of the work environments are not climate controlled. Very hot in the Summer, very cold in the Winter. Business partners are the number one priority, so they will make decisions that you cannot control as an engineer or manager. You will need to roll with the changes and keep it pushing, regardless of feedback. Pushback on changes are very difficult to voice, in fear of losing out on partnerships/ contracts. They can cut you out of the equation at any point as well. Sadly, as good as Packsize is, their bread and butter is corrugate sales, so the engineering teams tend to be on the back burner of priority. Only because of the contract based relationships. Nothing you can do about that. Not their fault. It's just apart of their business dynamics.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear you had a positive experience with the team, training, and growth opportunities. Packsizers are problem-solvers, for sure (and we’re proud of it). We also appreciate you sharing your experience. Safety and working conditions are a top priority, and feedback like this is important. We’re continuously working with our customers and partners to improve site conditions, including dust mitigation, climate considerations, and overall work environments for our teams in the field. We appreciate the note on spare parts as well. We actually have a large project underway now to streamline our spare parts process. Thanks again for your contributions while you were here, and we wish you all the best.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and for your years at Packsize! You nailed a lot of what makes Packsize so great. We're growing fast, and that comes with opportunities to speak up and make an impact. We hear you on leadership response times. As we’ve grown and spread across more locations, staying connected and responsive can be challenging. It’s something we’re actively working on—both from a communications perspective and by helping team members feel empowered to make decisions without oversight, so teams can keep moving. We appreciate the feedback and everything you do to help Packsize keep growing.
