Pros

This role pushed me to grow professionally and personally. I learned how to navigate high-pressure environments, set boundaries, &recognize what I truly need in a healthy workplace. The experience gave me clarity & I’m thankful for that!

Cons

The workload here is unrealistic. No matter how much is already on your plate, more is added without discussion or support. There’s a clear refusal to hire the extra help that’s obviously needed, which leads to constant stress. The overall environment is uncomfortable. There’s a lot of disorganization, unprofessional behavior, and leadership decisions that is driven by personal emotions instead of what’s best for the team or company. Over time, it takes a toll on your well-being. This job became so stressful that it started to affect my health in serious ways. Leaving was the best decision I could have made. Compensation is below industry standards. Raises are minimal, and there are no performance-based bonuses. The benefits package is limited compared to what many entry-level roles in other industries now offer.

Pros

Such a good atmosphere to work in, Cayden has been amazing with onboarding, he got back to me so quickly during the interview and offering me the position, I felt such a good vibe even from the interview. Everyone has been so welcoming. The benefits are amazing and coming from a previous toxic work environment this job is a night and day difference.

Pros

There are some talented coworkers who genuinely cared about their work and are great to be around. The office was conveniently located near public transit and food amenities, which made commuting easier.

Cons

Management plays dirty political games and has favorites that can do no wrong. Although, Leadership claims to make changes to help this. The benefits are not comparable to most any other place to work and as a result are very expensive for the employee. PS. they lie about it during interviews. The pay is below industry standards, with leadership expressing no actual raise increase beyond 2% after 1-3 years depending on your situation. The funding has been cut but other avenues have been mentioned/used. Who knows if it'll be here in 3 years. Work life balance is good for some, hard for others because some people have a lot to do and others have nothing to do. High turnover creates constant instability and stress. Investing in training for someone to quit or get laid off is strenuous. Real feedback is ignored so you just stop, because you know it won't actually change anything.
