Pros
- Great people to work with - Lots of opportunities to grow your career, either within your region or globally. Many employees have joined the company at entry level and developed to be senior managers/directors - Flat structure, no micro-management - The company is keen to listen and improve, many ways to share feedback - Values project management as a core skill - Really interesting, diverse projects - Good staff communications, internal networks, collaboration groups etc - EMEA leaders are parents to youngish children, so get work-life-balance - Lots of growth and change for company diversity and inclusion. We have a global director responsible for it (used to be more old boys club – not any more..)
Cons
- Some systems are simply crap and too clunky – there are more effective and modern ways of doing things!! - OK training on the job, great basic BD training - but other training is inefficient and lacking - Too much pressure on Project Managers to be finance experts, need more finance experts and better finance systems
