      Pros

      - Ability to tell others about your job, earning a living and making a difference - Good foothold to work for international development NGOs - Promotion easy to obtain after relatively short timeframe

      Cons

      - Few projects actually make a difference. Most are just a huge waste of government aid money - Low-performance inefficient working culture - Totally chaotic constant management reshuffles

      great work environment; supportive environment; lots of professional development

      Cons

      not a lot of job growth for everyone (only a few director roles, and not many women were in leadership roles); annoying that to get promoted you had to apply to an open position instead of getting a cycle promotion, which was more difficult to get.
