Pros

The company will send you to caterpillar Miami lakes for training. You work on very nice caterpillar equipment. The VP is really nice and most people are there to survive and have accepted all the bad as just a part of the job.

Cons

For paying the techs this company uses a skills evaluation. Master Techs that have been in the company for 20 years still haven’t reached the max salary of $45. In other words the tech are underpaid for the amount of work and profits they bring the company. New hires will get offered more money than older techs because the company has a difficult time keeping good technicians and offer bonuses to keep you locked in because when you start working here you realize all the bullsh*t that you’ll have to deal with including but not limited to an HR that doesn’t know the policies and when you reach out with concerns over moral and an awkward pay scale you’re terminated over something that could easily be adjusted to be more fair and transparent. The work environment with managers was often hostile and toxic. Also, selective enforcement occurs often and I’ve seen great people get fired by managers who would have been gone a long time ago. (That same manager sent me a job because “his guys” couldn’t do the job… yeah because you keep firing people that bruise your ego.)
