* Coworkers (including direct managers, but excluding upper management) are kind, smart, and helpful. * Good work/life balance most of the time except when approaching deadline (but even then not too bad). * Potential for interesting/fun projects. * No on-call rotation. * Meetings are generally efficient, minimal, and few-between.
Cons
* Old-fashioned company culture. * Limited vacation. * No sick days. * Upper management discourages working remotely; encourages everyone to be in the office 5 days a week. * Sometimes feels like work is too autonomous (e.g., often getting very little feedback on code review). * Team sometimes feels too small.
