Paxton Access Response
7yAt Paxton, we are committed to building a great place to work for all our employees. We are constantly looking at ways to bring the best working experiences to all our employees, across the globe. We have an open door policy and invite every member of our team at every level to give feedback for improvements.
Annually we run a company survey with a third party provider to collect anonymous feedback on the 8 factors of workplace engagement; leadership, my manager, my company, personal growth, my team, wellbeing, fair deal and giving something back. Based on these results we have been thrilled to be listed in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For the last two consecutive years. However, to be a great place to work we understand it is not a destination but a journey, which is why we are always listening to feedback and implementing change. In recent years we have used this feedback to improve our working environment, identify training requirements and introduce new family friendly policies.
Continual professional development at Paxton is something we work hard to implement. We provide employees with the opportunity to develop their skills, offering personalised development plans to help people along their chosen career path, in recent years we have created ‘Career Pathways’ which internally shows the development of existing employees, and highlights where career progression opportunities are available. Our CEO is a great example of this, working in numerous technical and commercial roles over the last 23 years. For any of our employees who feel uncertain in their career path, we would advise them to speak with our Learning and Development Business Partner who is perfectly placed to support with their personal development goals and understand their opportunities within Paxton.
