      Pros

      The peace corps offers a unique ability to work and live abroad in the places that truly matter. I lived in a small rural town and taught English, art, and computer classes. Some of my students went on to studying in university and beyond.

      Cons

      The pay isn’t so great and you are pretty far from home typically. It can also me lonely and stressful.

      Great work, good cause. Proud to be a part of the agency.

      Unable to continue due to doge, which seemed unfair. Not based on merit or worth but a number to be eliminated.
