Pros
The work is interesting and challenging, especially at first
Cons
There is no managerial support, the pay is comparatively terrible, the supervisors are awful, the work culture is bad and the diversity and inclusion is also terrible. They say that a junior staff turnover of over 50% across a few months in one office is because they aren't a culture fit - so your culture is that if you aren't white, middle class and awful you won't fit in and won't advance. Just don't do it. Other past colleagues and I have literally had to go to therapy because of how we have been treated. The management have affairs and the whole office know about it, behaviour is inappropriate, the CEO expects hero worship and benefits are consistently taken away. On top of all that, you still work long hours. They also just laid off some of their best people and kept incompetent ones
