Pros

The people who are doing their best to hold the company from falling apart.

Cons

Big talk and motivational speeches, but lacking intention by non-empowered leaders. Everyone is just holding on to their jobs.

Pros

- Awesome Team and the culture. Everybody is friendly and work like a big family. There are many smart people in the company - Big well known brand in Canada and great for your resume. - Good work-life balance

Cons

The company is not making enough money and they are panicking. There is almost no strategy to move forward. CEO (and founder) is over 70 years old and solves disagreements by removing the people who disagree with him - including former CEOs and other C-level executives. It's either his way or the high way. CEO needs to realize that weather is not as "sexy" product as it used to be 25 years ago when he started the company. In technology team specifically, there is no direction or strategy. There are constant and daily large scale problems and no one cares to resolve them. CTO keeps talking about hypothetical cases and never implements a solid strategy to move forward. Last, but not least, one of the lowest paying companies in technology, although HR disagrees. Because they compared salaries with other "Media" companies. They don't realize that software developers compare themselves with other technology companies, and not necessarily with a dying industry such as Media.
