Pros
- If you miss High School - the Remarketing Department is for you! - The pay is good, 15 days PTO and sick-time that gets paid out annually if you don't use it - Plenty of raining opportunities - The cafe at the corporate office is awesome, Site 2 (Bernville Rd building) sucks - There are a couple great people scattered throughout different departments
Cons
- DO NOT TRUST ANYONE, especially HR and your manager(s) everything you say to HR they WILL use against you - Management picks favorites and if you're not in the clique, you're not getting any advancements in your career - ZERO support from management. Total dog eat dog world, mgmt pretends to have your back and support your career and they climb right on top of you and take credit for all of your work - Everyone is in each other's business 24/7 in and outside of work. Spreading rumors, investigating your life. Super childish stuff. - If your department is a money making department, like Remarketing, as long as the dept is making money, you as an employee will never matter, nothing else matters to upper mgmt but the money - Penske loves to pretend like there's SO much opportunity to get promoted from within... totally false. You are only given opportunities if you brown nose and snitch on other people that confide in you (was told that directly by a Director) - Penske only cares about you as an employee once you've been there for 10+ years, anyone who's only been there for a few years doesn't matter, no matter how hard you work or what advancements you make in your position - Super high turnover rate in Remarketing, mainly due to the pettiness of management and the constant drama you always have to deal with
