Pros
Peraton can be a good place to work. They are a solid performer contract wise over the last few years. The work is consistent and the expectations are clear. There are solid practices in place and instructions can be found for most job tasks. There are an abundance of job materials to access which help make your job easier. Very flexible schedule.
Cons
Production expectations are unrealistic to maintain long term without working off the clock which I will not do. Field Mangers change at least twice per year which typically changes your area of focus based upon their expectations. Pay is not high enough for what their expectations are or the stress level. You will be micromanaged. The amount of credit you get for tasks is no longer an accurate indicator for performance due to cases being more complex with multiple areas/issues. They refuse to update these Source units to account for that. Management is good about relaying our top performance on the contract but there is absolutely no benefit to the Investigators who are making this happen for the company. No rewards or salary increases are given for this but expectations are increased. No cost of living raise.
