      Pros

      Most of the people are nice enough. Work/life balance. Most workers work from home.

      Cons

      Some of the executives are/were not qualified for the roles they held. Because they don't take outside funding, and because most of their offerings are niche-y and commoditized, they struggled to grow at a meaningful pace. A lot of cliques when I was there.

Percona has a global, distributed workforce, led by executives from similar environments, and we work hard to foster an inclusive environment where everyone has a voice. While we work to implement policies which allow us to maintain a good work-life balance, our pace can be seen as a bit more intense than one might find in a larger, office-based corporation.

      - Fully remote-first company - Flexible schedule - Company-wide 3 day weekend each quarter

      Cons

      - Higher levels of leadership don’t understand what truly happens within their divisions, yet make decisions that impact those performing the work - People are allowed to be bullies to their coworkers and disguise it as thought leadership - Leadership is full of empty promises
