Pros
Good training ground in basics of sales and distribution Have pioneered a unique, 3 pronged distribution system. Working for a highly impulse driven, non functional category provides unique insights into consumer behaviour, the discipline & importance of execution.
Cons
Limited thinking ability within the system, afraid of taking big decisions, no systematic approach to planning and poor long term vision for the future. Lacking in basic S&D systems and processes - too dependent on goodwill and relationships to drive sustainable business.
