Pros
The company has a number of really passionate educators who really care about doing great work and helping people learn. The mission of helping teachers become better at what they do is definitely worthwhile work.
Cons
The senior management lacks vision; they really don't know what they want to do with the company. Goals, when they exist at all, are vaguely explained and shift on a nearly weekly basis. Nearly everything they do is reactive; no one at the top has an idea of where the company should be a year from now, let alone in 5 or 10 years. The lack of forward thinking and advance planning contributes to the company operating in continuous crisis mode.
