As the pandemic progressed the company was really badly hit - business travel stopped overnight and it hit us hard, our culture shifted and the company changed. This meant a lot of budget cuts and suddenly "cash is king" became the most common phrase. During ERTE our hours were cut to a minimum but our targets remained the same which resulted in us working when we were not being paid which was very unfair.
There is no DEI plan in TravelPerk, the final decision-makers in interviews had a very closed mindset and made no effort to diversify the company. When it comes to pay the salaries are below the market and the benefits are very poor - you just have a choice between gym allowance or medical insurance.
