Pros
- Okay work life balance - Reasonable benefits i.e. medical insurance policy, dental/optical provisions - Priviledged to have been led by great superiors but they are hard to come by - Organization has the upper hand in Malaysia as a GLC
Cons
- Flexible work arrangement options available but depends on superior's flexibility and empathy - Career progression very confined to specific skill groups, no flexibility to change roles (e.g. Maintenance to Finance) without giving up current career progress - Hardworking employees are rewarded with more work and held back from transfers/promotions - Working environment rife with office gossips which affect reputations and diminish hard-earned credibility
