Pros
I've been here working with Phil for almost a year. In that year, I have seen many exciting changes to the organization. I have been able to use my skills in a number of different functionalities with Phil and feel that I have all the encouragement of my management team to continue to grow. When COVID19 started, the company made the decision to send the entire company to work from home. I greatly valued the stance taken by the company regarding the health of employees over forcing us all into the office. They are continuing to take a conservative approach to reopening offices and I feel they are looking out for our best interest.
Cons
As a healthcare company that offers healthy snacks and does not offer sodas, I am disappointed that they don't contribute more towards employee health benefits. Our benefits are decent and pretty standard for most employers but for a company that prides itself on being in healthcare, I hoped for better. The bonus structure, while fair, is not consistent. There is no tangible way to track if one is on track to bonus or when bonuses should be paid out. No clear track for advancement and few opportunities. While cross functionality has allowed me to learn about different aspects of the business, there has been no additional compensation given that I am still doing the main job I was hired for in addition to more tasks and responsibilities.
