Pros

ML based product BFSI Industry market

Cons

1. Engineering Head is a stakeholder and a co-founder. The Engineering Head has only 4 years of experience. This is why he lacks the maturity to handle a team and also the perspective to understand technical views. Because he is also the stakeholder and co-founder in the company, you cannot do anything but leave the company when he harasses you. He is the only one who interviews you before you are admitted to the company. Yet he manages to avoid taking the responsibility when employees leave. An eight year experienced developer had to leave within a month of joining and I had to leave within two months of joining solely because of the Engineering Head. The other co-founders, being non-technical have their hands tied and their effort is limited to apologizing to you. 2. Extreme Micro-management: Availability between 10 pm and 3 am is more important to the company then meeting the deadlines. So even if you are capable of working long hours in a startup, if you cannot be a night watchman then avoid joining this company. Note that I am not talking about typical delivery/demo days pressure, this happens everyday. The Engineering Head is more interested in trolling your Slack green light than actual work. Because he works in the night, he feels he has earned the right to be irritable in the morning stand up. 3. Codebase: Garbage. They have neither the understanding nor the desire to learn ReactJS or Javascript. The Engineering Head writes code and structures the product in a way which only he can understand. He feels insecure if someone more senior to him takes charge of the code or architecture. 4. False commitments: I was told that Saturdays will be a no-coding day. Yet, after joining I was given work on Saturday without any compensatory off. The worst part is they deny that they had committed to a no-coding Saturday. 5. Holidays Policy Trap: They tell you they have flexible holidays policy. What they mean is that they don't want to give you even the basic sick leaves, casual leaves and minimum leaves (like festivals) available in every company. 6. Summary: This is one company which treats you like an animal to pursue their own success. So if you are planning to join the above company, ensure that all the commitments are received in writing with no ambiguities.

Pros

Working at Pibit has been a good experience overall, especially because of the amount of responsibility and exposure you get early on. The company gives employees the freedom to take initiative, share ideas openly, and work on projects that have a direct impact on the business. There’s a strong learning environment, particularly for someone interested in AI, SaaS, and marketing strategy. The teams are supportive and approachable, which makes collaboration smooth across departments. Even in a fast-moving setup, people are willing to help, discuss ideas, and solve problems together. The leadership is also accessible, which helps employees feel more involved in the company’s direction and growth. Another positive is the variety of work. No two weeks feel the same, and there’s always an opportunity to learn something new, whether it’s around product positioning, customer messaging, campaigns, or go-to-market strategy.

Cons

Because the company is growing quickly, things can sometimes feel unstructured. Teams may need to adapt to changing priorities or tighter deadlines depending on business requirements. Certain processes are still being built, so there can occasionally be gaps in planning or coordination. As the company scales further, more defined systems and long-term planning could improve overall efficiency.
